What is somatic healing?

Somatic healing is a gentle, body-centered approach that helps you reconnect with your nervous system. These sessions might include breathwork, grounding, guided movement, or quiet reflection. Just come as you are. The pace is yours.

What is the difference between coaching and talk therapy?

Coaching is present-focused and growth-oriented. It helps you build confidence, shift patterns, and move forward with clarity. Unlike therapy, it doesn’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions. It’s about support, not treatment—ideal if you’re ready to grow from where you are now.

Is coaching a substitute for clinical or medical treatment?

No. While our offerings can be deeply supportive, coaching is not a replacement for licensed medical or psychological care. Root + Reclaim offers body-based and coaching-centered services that complement—but do not replace—licensed mental health or medical treatment. We’re happy to work alongside your existing supports when appropriate.

What can I expect in a session with Root + Reclaim?

Every session is a space to slow down and come home to yourself. Depending on what you choose—healing, coaching, or community work—you might explore grounding practices, breathwork, guided reflection, or gentle conversation. You’ll be met with care, choice, and attunement—never pressure. We move at your pace, in your season.
